NICOTINE STAINED: Pirate Cabin Readings

The Rambling Man a.k.a. The Rambling Pirate presents a piece entitled ‘Alaska’

Alaska.
We made our way through the snow
As we hiked on up Mount Juneau
Had a pack of smokes and a can of coke
I was underprepared for that hike, no joke.
I was looked after in Alaska.
Water was calm there were no waves
As we kayaked to the ice caves
Then we turned the corner, I will never forget Water was not calm, lots of waves, got wet.
I was looked after in Alaska.
Walking to yours there were no cabs
We had won a couple of hundred on some pull tabs
Barely walking in a straight line
We both thought we could pull down that road sign… We could not.
I was looked after in Alaska.

Walking on the beach that night Maybe this fire will just light
Away from all the bricks and mortar I can hear the salmon in the water.
I was looked after in Alaska.
We made our way into town
Went to every bar we found
We were looking for food if we could find any That’s when you introduced me to pelmeni… Game Changer…Delicious.
I was looked after in Alaska.
